Kalchen was born March 17, 1855 in Meudt, Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland.^[1] Her parents were Isaak Löwenstein and Henriette (Sonnenberg) Löwenstein.^[2]

Notes

At the end of World War II, Caroline's fate was unknown.^[3]
