Biography

Olive (Lansdell) Stacpoole was born in the Colony of Tasmania (1856-1900)

Olive Jubilee LANSDELL, daughter of Isaac LANSDELL, Farmer, of Bishopsbourne, and his wife Frances Elizabeth (SHERWOOD) LANSDELL, was born on 16 May 1887. Her birth was registered via a note to the registrar in Longford.^[1]

MARRIAGE. STACPOOLE-LANSDELL.-On the 20th January, 1917, at St. John’s, Ponsonby (N.Z.). by Rev. Bellhouse, Percy, elder son of the late John Stacpoole, to Olive J., youngert daughter of Isaac Lansdell, of Bracknell (Tas.).^[2][3]

Their son, John Massey STACPOOLE was born in 1919.^[4] He died aged 99 years.^[5]

1929 - Olive Stacpoole subscribed to 100 shares in a new company, Marsden and Company, Limited, bedding and mattress manufacturers. Capital: £8000, in £1 shares.^[6]

1955 - DEATH of HUSBAND: Percy STACPOOLE died in New Zealand in 1955, aged 69 years.^[7]

DEATH: Olive died almost 30 years later, on 13 April 1984, in Auckland, New Zealand, aged in her mid 90s.^[8][9]
