Mrs. Katherine A. Majors, 62, of Marquette Heights and formerly of Bethany, died at 1 p.m., Oct. 31 in Pekin memorial Hospital in Pekin after a long illness. She was born September 7, 1906 at Bethany, the daughter of Amos and Maude Creech Lansden. She was married to Herbert Majors who survives with one son, Howard, of Mossville; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Compton of Shelbyville; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Ward of Bethany; and four grandchildren.
