[1] Charlotte Adell Lapham is listed in 1850 as Charles A Lapham, a 22 year old male. According to a biography on her brother, Marvin Ezra Lapham, Marvin was the only male of the family, therefore, the census taker misunderstood what they were told at the time the 1850 census was taken.
