Biography

Antoine was born on 17 July 1762 and baptized the next day in Repentigny. [1] He was the son of Jean-Baptiste Lapierre and Madeleine Bourdon. [2]

He was married 3 times:[2]

He was first married to Catherine Gazaille St Germain, daughter of Jacques Gazaille St Germain and Marie Madeleine Lalouette Lebeau, on 27 Feb 1786 in St Ours [3]

He later married Marguerite Savoie, daughter of François Savoie and Marguerite Thibodeau, widow of Guillaume Aubuchon Desalliers Dulac, on 26 Jan 1767 in Berthierville. [4]

He wed Marie Angélique Ouette St Godard Goddart, daughter of Joseph Ouette Godard St Godard and Marie Thérèse Houde Houle, on 3 March 1794 in Lanoraie (St Joseph). [5]

He died on 5 August 1830 and was buried on 7 August 1830 in St-Césaire. [6]

Francoeur det Lapier-1 and Lapierre-782 appear to represent the same person because: Same dates and spouses in Francoeur det Lapier-1 and in research notes in the other profile. Marguerite Savoie is also a duplicate. Please merge into Lapierre-782 per Québécois Project naming guidelines on dit names. Lapierre is the only name used in the baptism record.
