Biography

Amos was born in Pennsylvania in 1904. He died in Loomis, Placer, California, United States in 1943, at the age of 38.

Death

Amos Clarence Latshaw was murdered along with four other members of his family in the small Sierra foothill town of Loomis, California.

On February 11, 1943 on their ranch, Amos Raymond Latshaw (19) shot his father Amos Clarence Latshaw, his stepmother Olive, two grandparents, and his younger brother, then ran away.

Amos Raymond Latshaw was tracked down in Southern California and brought back to Placer County. He was found guilty and sentenced to life.
