Biography
Cora was the daughter of Prosper and Margaret (nee Daniel) Fleming. She had been previously married to George S Layton in 1901. There were 3 children from Arthur and Cora, and Cora also had children from her previous marriage. Jessie Irene Layton b. 1901 & Arthur Theo Layton b. 1904. My brother Rick and I ran away from home once and walked from EasT Brisbane to New Farm to our grand ma's boarding house, she always had boarding houses, and I remember that an old prospector had left her with about 6 big jam jars full of Opals, she didn't really care much for them.
