Biography

Ida Myrtle (Leggott) Lauder, born 20 Jun 1894 in Sarnia Twp., Lambton, Ontario, Canada, was the youngest daughter of Richard and Margaret (Cowan) Leggott.

Myrtle married Clifford Lauder in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan on 23 November 1918. They lived in Corunna, a village neighbouring Sarnia, Ontario on the St. Clair River. In 1937, they moved to Leamington, Ontario. From 1945 to 1965, the Canada voters lists state that Myrtle lived in Hamilton, Ontario.

Clifford died in about 1952. Myrtle died 25 Jul 1985 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan (Grosse Pointe?). They were the parents of Edsall Lauder.
