Biography

ELIZABETH LEONARD, daughter of Henry Leonard and Mary Moore, was born 28 February 1840.

Elizabeth married Valentine C. Rust, son of David Rust and Susanna Baker. He was born 10 December 1831.

Elizabeth died on 18 May 1891 at the age of 51 years. She is buried in the Rust Cemetery ^[1] at Mendota, Washington County, Virginia. A field stone originally marked her grave site until a monument was erected in 1927 according to a note places on FindAGrave. Find A Grave: Memorial #189049927

Valentine died 13 November 1927 at 95 years in Washington County, Virginia. He is buried at Mendota, Washington County, Virginia in the Rust Cemetery. ^[2][3]
