John, son of James was born at Barnstable, on Oct. 29, 1656.
He settled in Hingham about Apr 1675.
He married Nov. 17, 1682, Hannah Lincoln, daughter of Sergeant Daniel and Susanna Lincoln.
He died 5 Nov. 1715.

Constable 1689.
Selectman 1703.
Justice of the Peace for many years.
Resided on Main Street, Hingham near Tower's Bridge.
