Joseph Lindsay was a Virginia colonist.

Joseph was born in 1750. He passed away in 1782.

His birth is based on the marriage of his parents in 1748.[1]
1776 Project
Col. Joseph Lindsay served with Kentucky County Militia, Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.

Military: He fell in the battle as a commissary soldier at the Battle of Blue Lick. Inscription: "So valiantly did our small party fight, to the memory of those who unfortunately fell in the Battle, enough of Honour cannot be paid." Daniel Boone

Killed at the battle of Blue Licks , Robertson County, Kentucky, USA
