Sarah was born in 1822 in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Isaac Loyd and Rebecca Barnes. By the age of 2 the family lived in Callaway County, Missouri. On 28 Oct 1847 she married Turner Richardson Haden. They had 9 children, 5 daughters and 4 sons. Sarah and Turner remained in Callaway/Boone, MO throughout their lives. It is here she passed away on 12 Dec 1895. She is buried at the Antioch Cemetery in Boone County along with her husband.
