Biography

Louise Locke was born about 1819. ^[1] She married John Brazier on 22 January 1845 in Gore, Ontario, Canada.^[2] Shortly there after she married James Bell, about 1846, per the 1900 census.

In the 1870 census Louisa (age 40), Keeping House, was in Pensaukee, Oconto, Wisconsin.^[3]

In the 1880 census Louisa (age 56), Keeping House, was the wife of James Bell in Pensaukee, Oconto, Wisconsin, United States.^[4]

In the 1900 census Louisa (age 76), Farmer, was the married head of household in Pensaukee, Oconto, Wisconsin. They were married 54 years. She had 12 children, 7 were still living in 1900.^[5]

In the 1920 census Louise (age 101) was the wife of James Bell in Abrams, Oconto, Wisconsin.^[6]

In 1922 Louise is mentioned in her husbands Obituary. It tells a lot about the long love and life of the couple. Both living till over age 100.

Louisa died on 24 April 1925 and was buried in Brookside Cemetery, Pensaukee, Oconto County, Wisconsin, United States.^[7]
