Michael D. Lombardi[1][2] was born on 29 November 1930,[3] in North Plainfield, Somerset County, New Jersey,[3] to Gaetano Lombardi and Anna Aiello.[1][4] [5] [6] [7]
In 1940, he was living at 24 Warren Street, North Plainfield, Somerset County, New Jersey, with his parents and siblings. He was attending school, and had finished two years. [4]
He attended Somerset School and North Plainfield High School.[2]
In 1950, he was living at 76 Manning Street, North Plainfield, Somerset County, New Jersey, with his parents and siblings. The week before the census was taken, he worked 40 hours as a grocery store clerk. [8]
On 8 September 1957, he married Helen Bushman, in St Mary's Church, Plainfield, Union County, New Jersey. Michael was an electrician, working for the Mack Manufacturing Corporation. [9] [1] They had three children. [2]
They lived in South Plainfield until they moved to a beach house in Forked River. [2]
He was an electrician. [2]
On 3 October 2013, he died, in New Jersey. On 6 October, he was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, Union County, New Jersey. [2] [3]

'Miss Helen A. Bushman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul H. Bushman of 237 Monroe Ave. and Michael D. Lombardi, son of Mrs. Ann Lombardi of 76 Manning Ave. and the late Gaetano Lombardi, were married Sunday evening in St. Mary's Church.
'The Rev. Francis E. Byrne performed the 5 p. m. ceremony, and a reception was held in Rendale's, Green Brook.
'Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of lace over satin. Its sweetheart neckline was trimmed with pearls and sequins, and it featured a chapel-length train. A fingertip veil was attached to a lace headpiece. The bride carried white orchids on a prayer book, surrounded by roses and baby breath.
'Mrs. Ann Manello of South Plainfield, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a mint green chiffon on taffeta gown and carried white carnations brushed to match the color of her dress.
'Linda Manello of South Plainfield, dressed like the honor attendant, was junior bridesmaid.
'Bridesmaids were Miss Eleanor Procacci of 969 S. Second St., Miss Betty Tranosky of Dunellen and Mrs. Lee Carol Biles of Watchung. Miss Procacci wore a gown of shrimp chiffon over taffeta. Mrs. Tranosky's gown was powder blue, and Mrs. Biles' was lavendar [sic]. All carried white carnations brushed to match their gowns.
'Frank Caruso of South Plainfield was best man. Ushers were William Deluccia of North Plainfield, Joseph Schirripa of North Plainfield, and James Jacobson of North Plainfield.
'As she left for a wedding trip to Florida, the bride was wearing a black and white checked suit with white accessories. The newlyweds will live at 108 Day St., South Plainfield.
'The bride attended Irving, Hubbard, and Jefferson schools and Plainfield High School. The bridegroom attended Somerset School and North Plainfield High School.
'He is an electrician with the Mack Manufacturing Corporation.'

'Michael D. Lombardi, 82, our loving husband and father passed away peacefully October 3rd, 2013. He was an electrician and a loyal member of IBEW Local 102. Michael loved to laugh. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family.
'Michael is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen A. Lombardi (nee Bushman), [two] Daughters ... and Son .... He is also survived by his sister, Ann Hall (Tootsie), 5 grandchildren Kristi Lombardi, Jayce Lombardi, Robbie DiDario, Guy Potts II and Jessica Potts and 3 great grandchildren Bryana Benjamin, Kali Benjamin and Violet Potts. He will be missed by many special nieces and nephews, who loved their Uncle Mike dearly.
'A Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 6th from 7:00-9:00 pm with a funeral service on Monday, Oct. 7th at 10:30 am at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ, 08731. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. In lieu of flowers and because of Mike's love for children, we are asking that donations be made to the Make a Wish Foundation'

'Gaetano Lombardi, 67 of 76 Manning Ave. died at his home last night (Jan. 24, 1956) after an illness of four months.
'Born in Italy, he had lived here for 15 years and was formerly employed by the B&E Landscaping Company for 14 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
'Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Aiello Lombardi; three daughters, Mrs. Theresa Santonastasio and Mrs. Ann Hall, both at the same address, and Mrs. Elizabeth Walley of Alabama; four sons, Philip of 72 Manning Ave., Carmine and Michael, both at home, and Guy of 521 E. Sixth St., a sister, Mrs. Felilcia Merrilleo of Staten Island, and 11 grandchildren.
'Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Scarpa Funeral Home, 22 Craig Pl.'

'The funeral of Gaetano Lombardi of 76 Manning Ave. will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the Scarpa Funeral Home. A High Requiem Mass will follow in St. Joseph's Church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Lombardi died in his home Tuesday night.'

'NORTH PLAINFIELD—Mrs. Anna Aiello Lombardi, 82, of 76 Manning Ave., died Saturday (Dec. 18, 1971) at Muhlenberg Hospital.
'Born in Maddalone, Italy, Mrs. Lombardi had lived here 50 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Her husband, Gaetano Lombardi, died in 1956
'Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Theresa Santonastasio, at home, Mrs. Betty Walley of Leeksville, Miss., and Mrs. Anna Hall of Piscataway; four son, Phillip and Carmen Lombardi, both of North Plainfield, Guy Lombardi of Plainfield and Michael Lombardi of South Plainfield; a sister, Mrs. Rose Rizzo of Staten Island, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
