Research Notes

Note N00180Came to Nova Scotia when he was fifteen years old with his father.
About the year 1759 or 1760, came to Nova Scotia with his father. His father, staying one or two seasons, and liking the country, returned home to Shirley, with the intention of removing his family to N.S., and making that place his permanent home, but did not live to effect his purpose. Israel stayed behind when his father returned to the States. Was apprenticed to a man named Parker to learn the carpenter's trade.
