Biography
Mary was born in 1870 and was the daughter of Mary Reikie (Way) Low (1828-1901) and Thomas (Lowe) Low (1824-1890), a large pioneering family [the Lows, aka Lowes]. In 1898 she married Charles Lindsay Thorne McDonagh, and subsequently moved to Captains Flat, NSW and then Canowindra, NSW where she died in 1944.

The marriage of Mr. Charles Lindsay Thorne McDonagh, New South Wales, youngest son of the late Mr. John William McDonagh, Linton, and Miss Charlotte Lowe, youngest daughter of of the late Mr. Thomas Lowe, Bacchus Marsh, took place at the residence of the bride's mother, Parkside-cottage, Bacchus Marsh, on Wednesday afternoon, 23rd March.
