Grandmother called him "Sat" and said he was a writer who knew Bennet Cerf. It seemed like all her brothers and sisters had nicknames. I never met Uncle Sat, but had some correspondence with him. He had a novel published called The Coming of the Unselves, and sent me a copy at my request before I was in high school. He said he was flattered, but didn't think I get much out of it.
