Biography

Albertus "Bert" Luttrell was born in 1933. He was the son of Harry Luttrell and Annabell Mason. He passed away in 2018.

Albertus "Bert" Luttrell, 84, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Rosehill Health and Rehab, Berryville, Virginia.

Mr. Luttrell was born in 1933, in Shockeysville, Virginia, the son of the late Annabell and Harry L. Luttrell. He was a retired general laborer with Solenbergers Fruit Hill Orchard in Winchester. Mr. Luttrell was a member of Shockeysville Bible Church. He enjoyed gardening, collecting antique cork bottles and taking walks.

Surviving are his sisters, Betty Jean Newcome, Esther R. Grim, Lucille A. Heishman; brothers, Calvin D. Luttrell, Harry B. Luttrell, Edgar B. Luttrell, Charles D. Luttrell and Scott Luttrell. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Mr. Luttrell is preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Lee Luttrell Grandstaff, Violet E. Moyer, Virginia May Swartz, Janie M. Shifflett, Barbara E. Miller and brothers, Howard W. Luttrell, Herman E. Luttrell, Glen R. Luttrell, and Grover L. Luttrell.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, from 11AM-12PM at Shockeysville Bible Church, Frederick County, Virginia.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM at the church with Pastor Issac Luttrell officiating. Interment will be in Shockeysville Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.
