Biography
Sophia was the fifth daughter of Charles Fitzroy Maclean and Margaret Allan Mearns.
At age 24, she married Walter Taylor, also 24, fifth son of William Taylor and Sarah Rumsey. Sophia's marriage took place at her family home 'Tasca Villa' No 197 Cumberland Street, Dunedin.
One known child, a son, Arnold James Goodsir was born in 1916.
Sophia died a widow in 1960, age 79. She left her estate to her son Arnold. SCATTERED ASHES - PLAQUE - FAMILY PLOT- BLK 193, PLOT 7.
