Biography

Charles was born in 1894. He was the son of Thomas Charles Bruce Mackintosh-Walker and Ellen Marianne Gardner.

He was baptised on 6 November 1894 at St Peter, Hersham, Surrey. His father was a Barrister.

England and Wales Census, 1901: Living with his parents, three siblings and five other individuals at Rydens Avenue, Walton On Thames, Surrey, England. Aged 6. His father was a retired Barrister.

He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.

His father died in 1930.

He married Lois Eileen Trench on 20 March 1937 at Chelsea, London, England[1].

They had two children.

He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).

He passed away in 1964 at the age of 69 and was buried at Geddes Churchyard, Nairn, Highland, Scotland[2].
