When Clayton Madden was born on May 11, 1924, in Garrison, Kentucky, his father, Fielden, was 52 and his mother, Nancy, was 39. He married Myrtle Adkins and they had six children together. He then married Frances M Elswic on January 28, 1995. He died on May 12, 2005, at the age of 81.
