In 1910, Wesley was the head of his household in Haw River, North Carolina, consisting of his wife, children and brother, Thomas B Maddox (1870-1928). He was working a merchant in general stock.[2]
He died on May 27, 1925 and was buried in the Moore Union Christian Church Cemetery in Sanford, Lee County, North Carolina, USA.[3]
