Biography
Patrick Maguire was born at Fermanaghh Ireland married to Mary McDermott Cavan Ireland 1819-1877, the couple had one child in Ireland Michael 1841 who joined them in Australia as a teenager. Couple had other children some born in Goulburn NSW others in Bright Victoria. Mary was well known in the Bright district as a midwife.

You have indicated that this Patrick died in NSW in 1873 when he would have been around age 72. I cannot find a relevant primary source to support this on NSW BDM.
There is, however, a death in Victoria in 1873 of a Patrick Maguire age 72. The event reg. no. is 7319 in 1873. It shows his parents as Thomas and Mary and his place of birth as 'LEIN' (although where this is supposed to be is unclear to me).
