Biography
Anthonette Mahieu was born about 1579 in Houpeleyne, Armentiers, near Lille, Walloon, Flanders. She is the daughter of Jacques Mahieu and Jenne Unknown. Widow of Guillame de St Morty, Anthonette was betrothed on April 27, 1605 in Leiden, Netherlands, to Guillame de Renquyre, woolcomber from St. Thomas. They married in the Leiden Walloon Church 15 May 1605. Guillame was accompanied by his friend Nicola Warnie and his brother Jaecque de Rencquire. Anthonette was accompanied by her mother Jenne Mahieu and her aunt Jacquemijne Lamam.
