Biography
George F Manes was born in 1843 in Bradley, Tennessee, his father, Pleasant, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 31. He had seven brothers and six sisters. He died on April 3, 1865, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 22, and was buried there.[1]
