Biography
John (Marble, Marable, or Marvel) was born in 1700. He was the son of Gershom Marble and Waitstill Ingle.[1]
He married Ester Tower 7 Sep 1724 at Hingham.[1]
John died intestate, Apr. 1738, as the record says, " suddenly at Cape Cod a whaling, leaving three small children."[1]
June 26, 1740, Esther his widow was appointed to administer upon her late husband's estate.[1]

I’ve found the source for John Marble to be known by Marvell as his last name, like his brother. https://plymouthcolony.net/cohasset/vr/071.html Lists his three children, Gershom, Mary, and Noah. (I’d been searching for Mary’s true parents.)
