Robert Marjoram was baptised on the 1st of October 1804 in Attleborough, Norfolk, England. He was the son of Thomas Margoram and Priscilla Hewitt.
On the 17th of November 1829 he married Mary Betts, daughter of James Betts and Jane Brock, in the parish church of Attleborough, Norfolk.
The 1841 census found Robert, his wife Mary, and children William, Charlotte and Robert living in Attleborough where Robert was an Agricultural Labourer.
His family was still living in Attleborough at the time of the 1851 census and the children living in the household with Robert and Mary were William (17), Robert (11), Sarah (9), Rebecca (6) and Mary (3).
In 1858 Robert and 3 friends (one of which may have been his brother John) were charged, sentenced and fined at Norwich Castle, Norfolk on the 10th of March 1858. The charge was Assault and they were found guilty, sentenced to 14 days and each given a Five Pound fine.
Robert passed away in April 1871 and was buried at Attleborough on the 18th of April 1871.
