Mary died on June 2, 1877 aged 88.[2] She was laid to rest on the 5th of June in the Monument Cemetery in Philadelphia.[3] Cause of death was paralysis.[4] She was removed to the West Laurel Hill Cemetery on the 2nd of May 1893.[4]
