Biography
Nancy Marks was born in 1800 in Rockingham, Virginia, to Mary Cherryholmes , age 30, and Jacob Marks, age 25.
She married David James Denton in 1819. They had ten children in 21 years. She is listed in the 1850 census as head of household, but her age was incompletely entered and then transcribed as 5 years old. [1]
She died in 1855 at the age of 55.
