Biography

Lucy was born in 1833 in New York. She was the daughter of Jason Marsh and Harriet Spafford.

Her family came to Rockford Illinois about 1840. ^[1]

She married Edward Baker in 1852. ^[2]

They lived in Rockford where he was an attorney. ^[3][4][5]

Edward was mayor of Rockford from 1866–1867 and 1868–1869. ^[6]

In 1900 she lived with her son Edward in Peoria. ^[7]

In 1910 she was living back in Rockford. ^[8]

Lucy passed away in 1914.^[9]
