Marion was born on 27 Apr 1851 in Orleans, Indiana; his parents were John Martin and _____ Mavity. Marion's usual occupation was a horticulturist; his usual address had been R.F.D. #1, Kokomo, Center Township, Howard County, Indiana. Marion was married at the time of his death to Melinda W. Martin. The informant for the death certificate was [his son] Claude E. Martin, who resided in Chicago, Illinois. Marion was buried in the Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, USA. [11]
