Biography

Jean Martin was born about 1779, in Surry, North Carolina, United States, her father, Jobe Martin, was 36 and her mother, Martha Mary Clarkson, was 40. She married Jesse Kearby on 24 August 1802, in Dobson, Surry, North Carolina, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She died in 1854, at the age of 75.
