Biography

Mary was born about 1748. She passed away after 1802. in Wikitree she was recently "married off" to a William Burrus Barlow who was born in Massachussetts. A lot more proof would be needed to make this true - including how she made the trip north to Vermont to have a single child while all the rest of her children were living in Caroline County, Virginia. PLEASE - provide more logical evidence before changing these records.

William Barlow died in 1784 . His name no longer appears in the Caroline Tax records after that year. Mary is listed as head of household after that year. Her male children ar listed with her as they come of age. A few years after William's death a property settlement was made wade. The records appear in the Caroline County order books - mentioning the names of all of their children. Mary died in 1802 in Henrico County, VA. -
