Biography

William was born in 1778. He passed away in 1846. He is NOT a member of William Barlow and Mary Mason's family. I'm leaving him here as a reference until I can get this problem straightened out.

William was born in 1778. He passed away in 1846.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:

I have never been able to prove the parents for William Barlow. At one time it was suspected that he was the son of William Barlow and Joanna Warren, but there is no proof of that as far as I could ever find. If he doesn't descend from this family, I wholly believe he is tied to that family in some way. There was also an older Samuel Barlow who died in Danby, VT that could be a relative to William. Old enough to be his father or uncle. I would have to dig my research on him back out and its been over 12 years ago since I worked on this family.
