Biography

Walter Evan Masters was born in Trenton, Ontario, in 1894. In 1901 he was with his parents there. In 1911 and 1916 he was with them in West Edmonton, Alberta. That year he enlisted in the army, giving his trade as auto mechanic, and became a sergeant. He married Margaret L. ___ or Lillian M. ___ (probably the same person). Around 1920 they had a son, William, born in the United States. In 1921 they were in Edmonton. Then he was a railway clerk; in 1935 a salesman and in 1949 a painter. He died in 1957 in Edmonton and was buried there in Beechmount Cemetery.

Note

According to the 1926 census, Lillian was born in 1893 or 1894 in Ontario.
