Jane (Maughan) Hutton was born in Australia

Jane Maughan (married name Hutton) was born in 1866 in Piggoreet, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Margaret Hutton and William Maughan.^{[citation needed]}

She married Robert Hutton on 4 September 1889 in Madam Berry, Victoria. ^[1] Their children were:

• Robert Hutton (1890?–1961)
• William Maughan Hutton (1894?–1965)
• Ronald Thomas Bannatyne Hutton (1903?– 1960)

Jane died on 13 March 1948, aged 80 years, in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand and was buried in the Old Balclutha Cemetery in Block F.^[2][3]
