Jean Baptiste Mazerolle is a descendant of an Acadian

Jean Baptiste was born in 1765 in Boston, baptized in September 1766, soon after the arrival of family in Québec. [1][2]

Possible marriage dates and births of children vary considerably. The possible children are [3]

Jean Baptiste lived among the grantees and first tenants of Madawaska, received on October 1, 1790.[5]

His name is on the July 13, 1792 petition to build a church.)[6]

On the 1820 census of Madawaska, there is no Mazerolle (unless the names were so poorly captured as to be unrecognizable)[6]
