Biography
In the 1900 census Roy lived with his parents and siblings in Pike NY. In the 1910 census he [misspelled Ray] lived in Eagle NY with wife Flossie. Roy's WW1 draft reg (12 Sept 1918) shows him in Cattaraugus County NY with his wife Flossie and employed by (farm owner) Miss Myrtle Patterson (his future wife). It gives his birthday as 15 May 1885, but his gravestone says 14 May 1886 and the 1900 census says May 1886. (I am using 14 May1886 as his birthdate; there is some uncertainty).
Roy divorced Flossie on 29 Sept 1919 and immediately married Myrtle Patterson on 1 Oct 1919.
Roy is buried with his second wife Myrtle in Mount Hope Cemetery, West Valley, Cattaraugus County NY.
