Biography

In the 1910 census Roy McCall lived next door to James McCall in Eagle NY, and the Richardsons were nearby neighbors. Roy's WW1 draft reg (12 Sept 1918) shows him in Cattaraugus County NY with his wife Flossie and employed by (farm owner) Miss Myrtle Patterson (his future wife).

EVIDENCE: Florence Mossman (age 49, b. NY) in the 1940 census (Lenox, MA) strongly appears to be Flossie Richardson--the calculated birthdate of 1891 (in NY) and presence of Flossie's mother Mary Richardson (age 75) support this. In the 1930 census, Florence's father was born in Canada. Florence's two children were born after the time of Roy and Flossie's divorce. Flossie is a common nickname of Florence.
