Rachel C. Cherry was born Dec. 30, 1845 to John A. McCaulley and Elizabeth Hopkins. She married John Elmer Cherry Dec. 30, 1863 in Tipton, Pa. They had 12 children. She passed away on Dec. 8, 1926. She and her husband are buried in Charlottesville Cemetery in Blair Co., Pa.
