Elizabeth (McDonald) Anderson was born on 14 Feb 1814 in Garmantown, Susquehanna Township, Cambria, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Barbara Rice (1778–~1880).

Elizabeth died on 19 Jul 1872 in Susquehanna Township, Cambria, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 58. She was buried in McDowell Cemetery, Clymer, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Elizabeth married Jonathan Anderson (born on 27 Jul 1821 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, United States) in 1841. Their known son was John Oscar Anderson Sr. (1846–1927).

In 1860, Elizabeth was living in Susquehanna, Cambria, Pennsylvania. [2]
