Ann was born about 1829. Daughter of John McFadden (weaver) and Ann
William Jamphrey. bachelor weaver married Ann McFadden, spinster, both full age and of Ahory, on 27 June 1850 at the Richhill Church of Ireland, County Armagh. Fathers Francis Jamphrey (weaver) & John McFadden (weaver). Witnesses James McFadden and Robert . . ? . . . [1] [2] [3]
Children
On 20 February 1856 William (27) a labourer & Ann Jamphrey (26) with children Rachel (2) & James (1), all from Armagh, emigrated from Ireland from Plymouth, Enlgand on board Fairlie and they arrived in Melbourne, Australia on 4 June 1856. [4]
The Jeffers moved around Victoria, daughter Jane was born in Williamstown in 1857, in 1861 Isaac was born in Elphinstone and 1864 they lived in Pleasant Creek, where David was born.
She passed away in 1870, aged 41, due to a Postpartum haemorrhage when giving birth to their son, John [5]
Her inquest was held on 28 February 1870 at Middle Creek. [6]
