Edward McKay lived in Canada.

Edward Lewis McKay was born on September 17, 1894 in St. Brendan's, Newfoundland, son of Daniel Mackey and Ellen Hynes.^[1]

Marriage and Family
In early 1918, two years prior to his marriage to Ida Marie Carrelli, he met a married woman named Blanche Drucilla (McLean) Dennis-Colgan (1882-1956). I have no proof if he knew she was married. Her husband, Arthur George Dennis (1881-1965), was serving in WWI at the time. Blanche and Edward had a fling. That fling resulted in a child.

Their child was:

1. Adeline Florence (McKay) Worthington (1918 - 1989)

It is unknown if Edward knew he fathered a child with Blanche.

On 18 November 1920 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Edward married Ida Marie Carelli.^[2]
