Kenneth was born about 1769. He passed away in 1841.
In his will, Kenneth named the following children: Angus, Kenneth, William, Donald, John, George, Murdock, James, Marion McPherson and Anne Pidgeon. [1]
Kenneth was buried in the Yankee Hill Pioneer Cemetery, next to his wife Ann Morrison, who died June 29 1841, age 61. They had emigrated from the Parish of Durn..ss in Scotland. [2]
When his daughter Ann died in 1888, her obituary said she was born in Durness, Sutherlandshire, Scotland and emigrated to Prince Edward Island in 1806. [3]
According to The Macleods of Prince Edward Island, Kenneth and his family emigrated on the ship Elizabeth and Ann from Newcastle. [4]
