Mary was born in 1850. She was the daughter ofMatthew McMillan and Agnes Kelly. [1]
She married Archibald Breckenridge in 1870. [2]
Mary passed away in 1928. [3]
Mrs. Mary Breckenridge, 77 years old, widow of A. M. Breckenridge died Monday, morning at 12:15 o'clock at her home at 758 North Second Street, from cardiac asthma.
Mrs. Breckenridge was born in Argyleshire, Scotland, Feb. 28, 1850. previous to moving to Rockford, she had resided on a farm near Poplar Grove for many years. Her husband preceded her in death, Jun 15, 1911, and a daughter died in infancy.
Three sons and two daughters survive. They are Matthew at home, and E. C. and A. James, Rockford; Nettie, at home, and Mrs. Alex McCathran, of Caledonia. Mrs. Breckenridge also leaves six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence at 2 o'clock at the late residence, the Rev. James Benson, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. [4]
