James Jackson McMillan (1833 - 1923)

James was born in 1833 to James C McMillan and Winnie B Kerbow in Georgia. He married at age 25, and enlisted in Alabama at 28 years old with the Confederate Army. He was captured in Dec of 1864, and after his release, moved his family from Alabama to Arkansas by 1870. He bought property there in 1902, and passed away in 1923 at 90 years old. His son Charles Augustus was made administrator of his estate.
