MEARES.—On March 24, 1919, at Niana, Cannington, Seymour Henry Meares, late of Tam-bry Station, Roebourne, W.A., the dearly be-loved brother of the late William, George, and John Meares, and Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Viveash, aged 74 years.[1]

Funeral of An Old Colonist.--The fune ral of the late Mr. Seymour Henry Meares, pastoralist and grazier, late of Tambry Station, Roebourne, and of Niana, Cannington, took place on Wed nesday morning last, the 26th inst. The deceased was born in Ashby, Middle Swan, Western Australia, in the year 1845, and was the eldest brother of the late Wil liam, George, and John Meares. The burial took place in the Anglican portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery in the presence of a large gathering, the Rev. J. P. Davoron conducting the service. The chief mourners were Mr. S. H. Viveash (brother-in-law), Mr. S. Meares (nephew), Lieut. E. W. Stokes, and F. Stokes (cousins).[2]
