Biography
Family legend says that when Henry came from the Azores he changed his name from Henry Eugene Mendoza to Henry M. Eugene and passed himself off as French for better job opportunities. He also falsified his birth date, providing one that doesn't match with his parents' places of residence. Birth and death dates are wildly approximate at this point.
