Nathaniel5 (John4, Nathaniel3, Nathaniel2) was born 26 Feb 1731/2 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and at an early age moved to Pelham, New Hampshire, and later to Westminster and Shelburne Falls, MA. His parents were John and Lydia (Gage) Merrill. He married (1) 7 Nov. 1754, Anna Baldwin, at Pelham, Hillsborough Co, NH,[1] and a second time to an unknown woman.
Nathaniel Merrill is honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution for providing civil service in Massachusetts. He was a road surveyor in Shelburne, Massachusetts, in 1777. [2]
Nathaniel died at age 68, he was survived by his second wife and at least six of his nine known children [3]
