Biography

Baptised on 12 August 1866 at St. Stephen's Church in Kirkstall, Yorkshire. In 1881 was working as a grocer's apprentice. In 1891 was still living with his family and working as a "paper ruler". In 1901 was living at 16 Redhands(?) Road in Armley, Yorkshire, with the same occupation. In 1911 lived at 10 Kildare Street in Leeds, Yorkshire, working as a printer. In 1939 was retired and living at 34 Greenhill Crescent in Leeds where he remained until the time of his death.
